Rikki-Lee has been painting, sewing and creating for as long as she can remember. She has had a heavy fantasy influence from her grandparents her whole life, as they made fantasy dolls and hand sculpted goblin and fairy characters, making them into concrete garden ornaments with quirky names. Her parents made these after her grandparents retired, and she has just recently taken over, making her the 3rd generation of their business.
Rikki-Lee worked in a studio in Noosa during early 2000’s painting plaster wall plaques for a company that sold them onto shops. She worked there for 4 years, and it was a major inspiration for her to begin creating her own canvas pieces. While she initially focusing on comic and anime inspired pieces, she has moved on to fantasy style digital pieces featuring vibrant colours.
Fast forward to now and Rikki-Lee is still doing her own canvas work as well as sewing and creating. As a stay-at-home mum, Rikki Lee makes time in her busy schedule to draw almost every day.
