Urban Perth Artwork

Perth is one of the smaller cities of Australia, and is situated the furthest away, surrounded by desert landscape and salty ocean. In the midst of all this, Perth has managed to carve out a reputation for being the next desired Australian city as it has much to offer the weary-eyed traveller. From the ocean, one can spot the Perth coastline in the distance. A gorgeous horizon in urban feat, and shines brightly through all seasons. These are just some reasons why Perth attracts artists.

Natural Perth Paintings

Perth’s natural environment is highly sought after by tourists and nature-lovers alike. With a coast that looks out to the Indian Ocean, Perth isn’t lacking in nature. The northern beaches of Perth are a gem with its pristine waters and views of the sun setting on the Indian Ocean. Pack your four-by-four and start your journey to explore the wilderness surrounding Perth. A few hours further north of Perth sits the small, sleeping town of Broome. Famed for its crystal blue waters and herds of desert-tromping camels, Broome is the holiday destination for any eager traveller. One of the most iconic natural landscapes Australia has to offer is the Kimberley. Boasting supreme terrain and sensational springs and waterfalls, the Kimberley is a sight to have hanging in your home. Perth also boasts its nearness to Rottnest Island. Filled with cute quokkas and whitewashed sandy beaches, Rottnest Island is a unique sight in Australia, and available on canvas to brighten up your home.

Stuart Millen in Perth

We have a large collection of images by photographer Stuart Millen. From his gorgeous images of the landmark Crawley Edge Boatshed and the crashing waves against an orange-yellow backdrop, there’s a range of colour-popping images from Millen’s portfolio. Millen got his start with photography during a camping trip while in primary school, where he used the family camera to take in all that was around him. His interest in the artform only increased throughout high school, where he enjoyed the challenge of shooting film and developing his own negatives in the dark room. Millen’s photography skills developed greatly over the years. This resulted in an increase in the volume and quality of his landscape and nature photography. His portfolio includes photos from locations such as New Zealand, Japan, Africa, North America, Europe and his favourite, Iceland, as well as photos around his home country of Australia.
