Enjoy art that captures the streetscapes of New York City, classic Europe, the West Coast, Asia and more. Our pictures of the world's major cities and most fascinating landscapes are designed to make you feel like you're there, touring without ever leaving home. The paintings and photography in our collection of canvas streetscape designs are of high quality; they capture the essence of a place with vibrant hues and realistic detail.

Touring the Streets

People flock to Europe to walk through the quaint streets. In our collection, we offer streetscapes that feature the little details that give a city, town, and village its character. Some of these canvas art features bicycles on the street, café tables and chairs, vases filled with colourful flowers. There are branches filled with bougainvillea drooping onto the streets, sights of Greek monasteries and Italian churches.

Famous Streetscapes

There are many streets that have been immortalised in art. Vincent van Gogh, perhaps the most well-known painter from art history, immortalised a street outside a café in Arles in a painting called The Café Terrace. After completing the painting, van Gogh had said, “On the terrace, there are little figures of people drinking. A huge yellow lantern lights the terrace, the façade, the pavement, and even projects light over the cobblestones of the street, which takes on a violet-pink tinge. The gables of the houses on a street that leads away under the blue sky studded with stars are dark blue or violet, with a green tree.” The painting is well known for the yellow of the café rood and the swirls of the night sky, as seen in van Gogh’s Starry Night. Childe Hassam is another artist who methodically depicted streetscapes are vital points of history. With Impressionist techniques, Hassam captured July 14th Bastille Day on Rue Daunou, among others.
