Australian Travel Art

Australia boasts hot temperatures and cold climates, with endless opportunities to catch the surf and hit the slopes. There’s much and more to see around Australia. In the north, you’ll find warmer climates with a bounty of beaches and tropical weather, while further south the breeze changes, chills, and it’s time to put away the beach gear and pull-out coats and skis.

Our collection of travel canvas art contains the best sights around Australia, including Uluru at Sunset, the stoic Blue Mountains, and amazing views of the Twelve Apostles without the hassle of battling out with large groups of tourists. There’s a range of skylines, from the The Gold Coast to Melbourne, and images of architectural feats such as those of the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. There’s much and more to inspire you to travel or revisit memories of adventurous times.

World Travel Art

Travelling can have us so excited that we forget the essential things, such as a pair of hiking shoes or worse, our passports. Sometimes we can even forget to bring along a quality camera to capture the best of our travels. That’s why we have a collection filled with inspirational sights around the world. You will find picturesque scenes to inspire you to travel to Rome, Paris, Greece, London, and more. If it’s the serenity and coolness of the tropics that you’re after, be sure to see our canvas art of Hawaii, Thailand, and Bali. If you’re a city slicker and prefer the modern bustling world over the natural world, you may be drawn to images of the New York City skyline, or a rare moment of an epic storm over the Toronto skyline. For adventurous sights off the beaten track, your walls will brighten up with the magnificent rock formations in Arizona, USA, or the epic beauty of Canadian Lakes and Patagonian sights.

Travel Print Illustrations

Before the invention of photography and film, artists captured moments of travel in clever and creative ways. Some inspiring illustrations on travel come from Japan. Japanese woodcuts have inspired European artists since the nineteenth century, influencing the Impressionists and Vienna Secessionists. Japanese artist Utagawa Hiroshige is known around the world for his remarkable woodcut prints, which are bolder and more formal than his contemporary Hokusai. From his woodcuts depicting views of Mt Fuji or those of the Tama River, it’s a unique look at Japan and all the beauty it has to offer. Then there is the work of Ivan Aivazovsky, whose paintings took you on a unique voyage across oceans.
